S14 Fuel Sending Unit Wiring. After a spirited autocross in my 95 s14 240sx i discovered that my fuel level sender had fallen off its mount and down into the gas. It is the wiring that goes to the fuel lead switch thus giving signal to the fuel gauge. I hope i don't have to take the fuel tank out just. One of the wires on the sending unit broke, it is the wire that goes to the little cylinder looking thing. When i hardwired mine i was doing two fuel pumps. The fuel pump is essential to delivering the correct amount of fuel to your motor, especially during boost. I am in the middle of installing a phr dual pump hanger on. What i did was go to the dw site and see what was included in there kit when to napa and bought it lol. Hey guys, hoping someone might be able to help me out on some wiring. There was a broken wire which looked to be a ground that was soldered to the side of what looked to be a resistor (black wire).
